Opis stanowiska

For our Client we are looking for Project Managers Geologist to work in Nederland.

Multiple opportunities for experienced Geologists or Geophysicists to work for a world leader in on- and offshore engineering and surveying.

The Project Manager Geologist will report directly to the Unit Manager and will supervise Junior Geologists and liaise with clients. He/she will be responsible for the technical content and quality of projects and will be expected to contribute to marketing activities. As such, this position will involve some travel to clients, offices and other locations worldwide. The technical work will embrace the same or similar projects to that of the Junior Geologists. As Project Manager Geologist you will display a high degree of self-motivation and will be an excellent team worker. Above all you have an exploration mind set with a scientific background and good, up-to-date commercial awareness.

Requirements
Previous experience in project management and supervisory roles.
MSc or PhD degree in Earth Sciences ( Geology / Geophysics ) and 3-5 years industry experience.
Ideal candidates for this position will have knowledge and experience in several of the following:
Disciplines:
Sedimentology (carbonate/clastic), Mineralogy and Petrology, Stratigraphy (sequence and seismic), Petrophysics, (Tectonic-) Geomorphology, Petroleum Geology, Reservoir Characterization and Geochemistry.

Wymagania

Techniques:
Facies Analysis, Core Description, Drainage Analysis, Denudation and Provenance Studies, Terrain Modeling, Remote Sensing, GIS and Database Management, Mapping, Stratigraphic Correlations, Seismic Interpretation, Laboratory Analyses and fieldwork.

Oferujemy

Software:
GIS (ArcGIS, MapInfo, etc), Remote Sensing (ENVI, Erdas, PCI-Geomatics, etc) and Petroleum Systems (Petrel, Landmark, Kingdom, BasinMod, WellCad or Jason WorkBench) in addition to standard packages, such as Microsoft Office and adobe.
